We do not provide:

• Day-of coordination

• On-site event management

• Vendor supervision on the event day

• Legal, financial, or contractual representation

Clients remain responsible for final decisions, bookings, and execution of their event.

Scope of Support

Our services are intended to support and guide clients through the planning process. While we provide recommendations, tools, and organizational assistance, the client retains full responsibility for:

• Vendor contracts and payments

• Event logistics and execution

• Final timelines and confirmations

• Personal details such as attire, gifts, favors, or accessories unless otherwise agreed upon

Communication

Communication is provided according to the selected service package. Response times may vary but will always remain professional and reasonable. Unlimited email support refers to reasonable, planning-related communication and does not include 24/7 availability.

Payments & Fees

All fees are outlined in the client’s proposal and invoice. Payment terms, including due dates and installment options, will be specified at the time of booking.

Services begin once a signed agreement and required payment have been received.

Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the nature of planning services and time-based work, deposits and payments made are non-refundable once services have commenced. Any cancellation or rescheduling policies will be outlined in the individual client agreement.

Intellectual Property

All materials, templates, documents, planning tools, and written content provided by The Modern Events Co. remain the intellectual property of The Modern Events Co. These materials may not be copied, shared, or distributed without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

The Modern Events Co. is not responsible for:

• Vendor performance, availability, or pricing

• Changes in vendor terms or policies

• Delays, cancellations, or disruptions beyond our control

• Errors or omissions made by third-party vendors

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.
