The Modern Events Co. was founded to offer a calmer, more intentional way to plan meaningful events.
The idea for The Modern Events Co. came from planning my own wedding. I quickly realized that most planning support tends to fall into one of two extremes: full-service planning, which often comes with a significant investment and full handoff of execution, or day-of coordination, which is incredibly valuable — but typically begins once most planning decisions have already been made.
What I was looking for lived somewhere in between. I wanted support during the months leading up to the wedding — help knowing what to do next, how to prioritize, how to evaluate vendors, and how to bring all the details together — without handing over control or committing to a full-service planning package.
That experience inspired me to create a planning service that’s thoughtful, collaborative, and flexible — designed to guide couples through the process while allowing them to remain closely involved in shaping their celebration.
With over seven years of marketing experience, I approach weddings with a big-picture mindset. I see each event as a cohesive experience — where details, design and intention work together to tell a story and evoke emotion. That perspective allows me to help couples think beyond logistics and create celebrations that feel personal, considered and meaningful.
My goal is to offer planning support that feels calm, refined and genuinely helpful — so couples can enjoy the process as much as the day itself.
